This subject discusses the main features and prominent works of drama in the Elizabethan period.
It first introduces intrinsic and extrinsic elements of drama including analyzing both elements of
drama such as character and characterization, theme, plot, setting, point of view, language
style as well as the contextualization of today’s society. Students are exposed to various drama
performances and scripts. The outcome of this course is a drama analytical paper.
